When the Cash for Clunkers (C4C) program drew to an abrupt halt after one week, Mi Representative Pete Hoekstra rushed to the rescue. However, the ‘unexpected success’ of this federal subsidy program gave me reason to ask a few questions.

Question #2: The government is giving additional moneys to dealers in order to entice car owners to purchase new vehicles. In the past, car companies provided the subsidies, and the resulting lower profits could be worked into the car companies’ bottom line. Retailers learned long ago that at times, it’s better to sell 10 vehicles at a small margin than only one or two at full retail. The resulting profit is greater, and everyone in the cycle wins.

However, the teams on the playing field have changed this time. As a result of forced restructuring, two of the Big Three car companies are federally owned. Over 70% of GM ownership is govt, and another 14% is owned by the unions. So, how is this money helping, and who is the money helping. The government is providing $ 3000.00 to $4500.00 incentive per vehicle. This money is going to the car company, which is now owned by the government. Because the government doesn’t have any money of its own, which means the monetary incentive is, in reality, your and my tax dollars.

What kind of Three Card Monte deal am I watching here?. The government is taking my money, paying it to itself, calling the transaction a consumer subsidy, in order to sell cars to “stimulate the economy.” Has anyone compiled a profit plan? Has there been an objectively evaluation the details of this circular transfer of funds? I doubt it. Recent history from the TARP fund and the Stimulus bill of 2009 show that the government is more interested in moving quickly to create the illusion of progress than making wise decisions in the interest of its citizens.

The government doesn’t have to turn a profit. They just print more money. I fear that like most sidewalk carnival shell games, this program will also fail to create any tangible positive economic payoff, regardless of how the main stream news media spins the results.

“Remember the Alamo!” “Mr Gorbachev, tear down this wall.” “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country;” These rallying cries instantly bring together mind, will and emotion, break the inertia of complacency, and move people into collective action. Even though public sentiment often tilts against marketing and packaging, we are all moved by resonant rallying cries.

President Obama generated collectivist action around marketing pitches that resonated with average citizens who feel out of touch and out of control when it comes to governmental behavior. “Yes We Can” and “Change we can believe in” drew the best of the American spirit into focus like the sun’s rays through a magnifying glass. Thus his concentrated public approval has been hard to dissipate.

In the current health care debate, missing on the the conservative side is a marketing plan, a rallying cry. We need a simple call to action which the public can identify with, and like “Remember the Alamo” use to emotionally activate the wider American public. This cannot be a slick bait and switch approach which is too often the methodology of in Washington. Conservatives cannot afford and should not employ disingenuous tactics. We want truthfulness and integrity from our leaders. Honor and truth will in the end win the hearts and minds of the people.

So what can we shout from the street corners and write in the blogosphere that will unite conservative Americans in this debate? In recent weeks, a few messages have surfaced with limited success. To the administration’s claim “cheaper universal care which maintains private choice” we have responded but not well. It is impossible to explain how “expanding government control over private lives will ultimately limit choices, cause costs to escalate and lead to government intrusion into every area of our lives” in a sound bite.

Sarah Palin’s comment regarding government health care “death panels” is gaining traction. I applaud the ex-governor for taking such a bold and informed stand against Obama’s juggernaut. Yet can we get the American people to activate and engage the political system on the idea of “stopping govt. death panels?” The argument gets lost in translation via sound bite media, and gives the left too much fodder for their marketing teams.

“We don’t want socialism, and do not want to become a socialist country” is accurate. But let’s be honest – many citizens don’t know what socialism is, or why it is undesirable. When these weak slogans break down, many conservatives are left with “Well just stop this plan. Stop Obama and stop congress.”

What may surprise some of my readers is that I would like our country’s president to succeed. I would like an intelligent, black American to leave a powerful legacy on the pages of American history. America could close a chapter of racial strife, and start a new one which points in the direction of genuine healing between races. Our nation celebrates the achievements of underdogs. For a man or woman to climb from humble beginnings into the White House is an incredible accomplishment which should be celebrated. However, a man who does so via thuggish “coalitions of power” assembled to “fundamentally restructure American society” while listening to the advice of ex-terrorists, felons, hate-mongers and communists . . . well . . . now I have a problem.

Which leads full circle to the fundamental issue. Conservatives can’t rally public sentiment on “stopping this person” or “voting against a policy.” We need a rallying cry which resounds deep in the hearts of free people who want change that will genuinely create improved quality of life. Toward that end, I offer this sound bite friendly clarion call.

Lower prices mean more coverage, more choices and more freedom for more people

Less government means lower prices.

Policies can be built which achieve less government involvement. (Thank you President Reagan.) But explaining them to the public which believes “Yes We Can” create “Change We Can Believe In” is a tough sell. It is equally tough to sell “reintroduce market forces” or the benefits of “health care savings accounts” to a digital, sound bite culture. Conservatives need a plan to support, and an idea around which to rally that creates positive, proactive excitement. Failing to create positive momentum on our side can stop this current generation of socialist advance only to be vulnerable for the next evolution of the same message. We need a voice. We need a message. We need change we can believe in. We need to fix a flawed health care system, without replacing it with a failed socialist one. We need to get popular support for a positive solution which will make our lives better.

• We want lower health care prices.
• Lower prices mean expanded coverage.
• Lower prices mean more people can be covered.
• Lower prices maintain my freedom and choice.
• Less government involvement means lower prices.
• It works, it always does. It works every time it’s tried.

So Congressman, Senator, Mr. President, craft a bill which lowers the price of health care, and you will then fulfill the promises you have made to the American people. This is what we hired you to do.  And if you ignore us, you will be replaced.

A Heartfelt thanks for Sarah Palin’s well written article detailing the health care plan which still has not been read in the halls of congress. She is informed, intelligent, and spot on – “you betcha.”  If you haven’t visited here Facebook page, check out the details here.

She  mentions E. Emanuel’s “Complete Life System”, from which the details and direction of the current health care bill are drawn.  Here is an explanation of this  political systemology from the LaRouche P.A.C. out of Va.  It could have been cut and pasted out of the German National Socialist Party Documents.  (yes, that is the Nazi party.  Make the comparison yourself.)

It is apparent that this administration is dead set (pun intended) on forcing passage of this bill, or some evolution of it.  A response, the only response around which freedom loving American’s must rally is “No, scrap this bill.  No way, No how, No time, no adjustments.”  We want health care reform.  We need to fixed our flawed system, but not by replacing it with a failed, fatalist, fascist solution. Here’s the Solution.

• Lower prices mean more people covered, more choices, and more freedom.
• Lower prices come from less Govt. involvement.
• Craft legislation to get govt out of the way, not take it over health care.
• Mr Obama, you then will keep the promises you made to us.

A woman in a hot-air balloon realized she was lost. She lowered her altitude and spotted a man in a boat below. She shouted to him, “Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don’t know where I am.”

The man consulted his portable GPS and replied, “You’re in a hot air balloon, approximately 30 feet above a ground elevation of 2,346 feet above sea level. You are at 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes north latitude and 100 degrees, 49.09 minutes west longitude.

“She rolled her eyes and said, “You must be a Republican.”

“I am,” replied the man. “How did you know?”

“Well,” answered the balloonist, “everything you told me is technically correct. But I have no idea what to do with your information, and I’m still lost. Frankly, you’ve not been much help to me.”

The man smiled and responded, “You must be an Obama Democrat.”

“I am,” replied the balloonist. “How did you know?”

“Well,” said the man, “you don’t know where you are or where you are going.. You’ve risen to where you are, due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise you have no idea how to keep, and you expect me to solve your problem. You’re in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but somehow, now it’s my fault.”

I think President Obama knows. He is neither implimenting policies in error, nor making bad decisions based on wrong information.

The question is “What is his goal?” The Answer: He told us 5 day’s before the election. In his speech in Chicago “We are five days away from fundamentally restructuring the American society” He doesn’t want prosperity for all – He wants to return the wealth of the country to the ‘rightful owners.’ (remember Joe the plumber) He doesn’t want a economic recovery. Just 14 days ago, under increasing pressure re: the stimulus plan failure to promote recovery, he said “The stimulus plan is having exactly the effect we want” And his tax cheat Treasure Sec, T. Geithner said appx 30 days ago: “We are acting to prevent another boom cycle in the economy.”

They don’t want recovery, for the wealthy, business owner, middle class, or poor. They want more control and a wider dependence of the populace on Govt. They have said so, and everything they are doing is pointed in that direction.

A more impt question is: How long will we accept their policies & actions?

Tax breaks always work because by leaving financial resources in the hands of business, investment can be made which produces more than what is spent. Like a farmer with a crop of corn. The entire crop can be eaten / sold, but then there is no seed to plant and produce more crop. The farmer who keeps some of his crop for planting receives back more than is spent – and so economic activity increases.

However, when the money that is paid out in incentives has been first taken from the business community, (or from the “rich” as this administration liked to demogog) the money given as “incentives” produces less because it has been taken from the producers, the farmer in this illustration, and spent (eaten in our illustration) by govt. The result is less investment is made after the economic activity has been artifically retarded. Less investment in an already slowing economic environment means less new activity, less wealth, less reinvestment.

The result, as we in Mi know, is the highest unemployment rate in the nation, a worsening economic climate, and no end in sight.

If the govt. wanted to stimulate economic activity, they would follow John Kennedy’s example (a democrat) and Ronald Reagan’s example (a republican) and cut taxes. The result is more money in the hands of the ‘farmer’ to plant more crop, more money in the hands of govt because of improving economic conditions, and a rising economic tide that lifts the boats of the business owners and the working class. Everyone benefits. It works every time it’s tried.

However, it has become clear that improving the economy and hence improving the lives of the general population is not what this administration has in mind.

Worse than Watergate, Whitewatergate, or any of the other cover ups of previous administrations, is the question of whether Barack Hussein Obama is eligible to serve as President of the United States of America… OR, is he a FRAUD, a USURPER, a man with no legal authority to sit in the position that he now claims to hold?

Barack Obama could simply put the issue to rest RIGHT NOW by releasing his ACTUAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE! But he WON’T! Instead, he has had teams of attorneys all over the country, fighting “tooth and nail” to thwart the efforts of the United States Justice Foundation (USJF), and our allies in a number of states, to compel him to produce an ACTUAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE and to prove that he is Constitutionally eligible to serve as President of these United States!

Ohio, Mississippi, Hawaii, and California! These are the states where USJF has been involved in lawsuits seeking an answer to this critical constitutional question!

And now, in California, just like in every lawsuit filed over this issue, the Obama team of attorneys, working with liberal allies in the office of California Attorney General Jerry Brown, has convinced a Sacramento County Superior Court judge to dismiss USJF’s suit to force the truth to come out about whether Barack Obama is a “natural born” citizen, and, therefore, eligible to serve as President of the United States.

BUT WE’RE NOT GIVING UP! Our clients in this case, including 2008 candidate for President of the United States, Alan Keyes, have given USJF the go ahead to file an appeal of this decision!

A number of apologists for Barack Obama have gone to great lengths to belittle USJF and our allies in the fight to preserve our Constitution. However, the questions that they cannot answer are:

If Barack Hussein Obama has nothing to hide, WHY doesn’t he just make his real birth certificate public? WHY has he spent a almost $900,000.00 in attorney fees, for, among other things, fighting USJF’s efforts to obtain his ACTUAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE? The more that he fights these efforts to see this document, the more that you have to wonder, WHY?

Obama supporters want everyone to believe that only “fringies,” the people that they now call “birthers,” in other words, only people that they claim are outside of the main stream of thinking, question whether Mr. Obama is truly eligible to serve as President of the United States of America. But the truth of the matter is that more and more people, including many federal, state, and local elected officials, AND many in the military, are questioning whether Barack Hussein Obama is, indeed, a “natural born citizen,” a Constitutional requirement for him to serve as President of these United States.

The citizens of this country have the right to know if Barack Obama is, indeed, eligible to serve as President! And we here at the United States Justice Foundation are going to take our lawsuit all the way up to the United States Supreme Court, if that is what is necessary, to find out the answer to this critical question.

This fight to discover the truth will be neither easy nor inexpensive, but isn’t protecting the Constitution worth it? And that is exactly what this legal battle is all about,

Barack Obama wants you to ignore what he is doing, he wants you to ignore the U.S. Constitution, he wants you to think that the parts of the Constitution that he does not agree with (like the requirements to serve as President) are unimportant.

In effect, he wants to destroy the U. S. Constitution and reshape this country into his own image of what he wants it to be.

And Barack Obama’s attorneys have now taken another big step to destroy the Constitution of the United States — this time in a California State Court. Those attorneys, working with liberal California State Attorney General Jerry Brown, convinced the Judge in our case to rule that only Members of Congress can challenge the qualifications of Mr. Obama, or any candidate, to serve as President.

And, the Judge further ruled that such a challenge could only be made on the 6th day of January following the meeting of the Presidential electors, at the session of Congress where the vote of the Electoral College is counted and the results announced. To use the Judge’s words, this is “the exclusive means for challenges to the qualifications of President…”

That means that no one, except a Member of Congress, and only on one certain day of the year following the Presidential election, can challenge the qualifications of a President-Elect! And then, the challenge can only be successful if a majority of the Members of Congress support the challenge! And that means that the politicians, not the people, are in control of who becomes President if there is an eligibility issue!

Is that what you want? Do you believe that the majority party in both Houses of Congress should be deciding who is eligible to serve as President? Do you want Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, or Harry Reid deciding who is President?

That means that the requirements of the U. S. Constitution as to the eligibility of the man or woman who runs for President to serve as President are meaningless!

Do you believe that the Constitution is a meaningless document? Do you believe that a majority of the Members of Congress have the right to ignore it? To render it of no force and effect?

The Trial Court Judge in our case did! But we are not going to accept his decision. We are not going to accept the legal arguments made by Barack Hussein Obama’s attorneys, and those by attorneys from liberal California Attorney General Jerry Brown. We are going to keep fighting this monumentally important legal battle all the way up to the United States Supreme Court, if that is what is necessary.

We MUST learn the truth about whether Barack Obama is a “natural born citizen!

But to blunt our efforts to learn the truth, the Trial Court also blocked our subpoena for the college records of Mr. Obama! These vital records could have proven whether Barack Hussein Obama is eligible to serve as President of the United States, or whether he is a USURPER, a FRAUD, sitting in the oval office without any legal authority to do so!

What is in those records? We do not know. But the Obama legal team pulled out all of the stops to block the subpoena, so we believe that there is something in those college records that bears on the critical issue of whether Barack Obama is eligible to serve as President of the United States.

JUST LIKE WE BELIEVE THAT THERE IS A REASON WHY THE OBAMA LEGAL TEAM, ACCORDING TO A PUBLISHED REPORT, HAS BEEN PAID OVER $800,000.00, and as much as almost $900,000.00, TO KEEP THE PUBLIC FROM SEEING HIS REAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE — NOT THE PHONEY ONE THAT HE PUT UP ON HIS WEBSITE.

There is no doubt in my mind that this e-mail may be the one of the most important documents that you ever read!

What you do after reading this e-mail may well determine the fate of the United States of America!

Please know that we are not saying that Barack Hussein Obama is not eligible to serve as President of the United States of America. The problem is we just do not know!

We do know that Barack Obama’s maternal step-grandmother has proclaimed that she was present at his birth in Mombasa, in what is now Kenya, in Africa!

We do know that a fake birth certificate was put up on Obama’s website!

We do know that Mr. Obama’s legal team is doing everything that it can, in every case filed over this issue; to make sure that no one has access to his birth certificate.

We do know that Mr. Obama’s legal team is doing everything that it can, in our California case; to make sure that no one has access to his college records.

DON’T LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT!

The voters of the United States of America have the right to know whether Barack Obama is a “natural born citizen,” as REQUIRED by the U. S. Constitution!

It’s a question that MUST be answered!

Why? Because, if an unqualified person was elected to the Office of President of the United States, our entire form of government could be compromised!

Why?

Because, if Barack Hussein Obama is not eligible to serve as President of the United States, each and every act that he takes as President will be null and void! That’s right, each bill that he signs into law, every Executive Order that he issues, and each and every one of his nominations to his Cabinet and to the federal courts will have no legal effect!

I don’t make that statement lightly. It’s not an exaggeration.

Article 2, Section 1, Clause 4 of the United States Constitution provides, in pertinent part, as follows: “No Person except a natural born Citizen… shall be eligible to the Office of President…”

That means that neither Osama Bin Laden, nor California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, nor Obama billionaire money man George Soros can serve as President of the United States. That also means that if Barack Obama was born outside of the United States, he is not eligible to serve as President of our great country!

So where was Mr. Obama born?

He claims to have a copy of his birth certificate. That means that either he knows where he was born, or he’s lying about having that document.

And only Barack Hussein Obama’s ACTUAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE can answer that question of where he was born. But he has teams of attorneys, all across the country, spending, and doing, whatever it takes to make sure that no one, and I mean NO ONE, will be allowed to see the one document that can clear up this controversy

Mr. Obama has claimed that his Presidential administration will be the most transparent in history. Yet, he will not make public the one document that could end all of the questions about the legitimacy of his election as President.

And you have to ask yourself, WHY?

Is it because this is some unimportant “technicality”? No, a requirement of the U. S. Constitution is not a mere “technicality”!

Is it because “President” Obama (if he is the President of the United States) has more important issues to deal with, and can’t spare the time to deal with such a trivial issue? No, what is more important than the integrity of the Office of the President?

Or, is there something more involved?

Another question that the Obamaphiles don’t want to answer is why, in 2005, was a law firm with ties to Mr. Obama researching the question as to how to evade the requirements of Article II of the United States Constitution, regarding the requirements to serve as President. 2005? Three years before the Presidential campaign?

If that doesn’t raise questions in your mind, then nothing will!

And then there’s the statements made by representatives of the State of Hawaii!

According to Dr. Chiyome Fukino, of the State of Hawaii’s Department of Health,
“Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawaii, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawaii State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures.”
Exactly what does that mean? If she can access it, why can’t we? It is that very record that USJF financed lawsuits in Mississippi and in Hawaii were seeking to force into the public arena! But Obama’s attorneys, and his allies in state government, stopped those efforts cold!

So, the time of decision is now!

Do we give up?

Do we just ignore this threat to our Constitution? To our very form of government?

We here at USJF say NO!

Now is not the time to give up this fight!

Now is not the time to walk away from the most important Constitutional battle in our lifetime!

Now is the time to redouble our efforts to find out the truth!

Now is the time to tell Barack Hussein Obama that the United States Constitution is far more important than his political ambition!
